As a Canadian citizen/permanent resident, you have the right to sponsor other family members; mostly, parents and grandparents. You as a sponsor, along with your spouse - if applicable, must meet certain financial criteria, which changes every year.
You must be willing to undertake responsability for your relative for a period of 10 years following their arrival in Canada.
